I saw these plates and was instantly blown away. I absolutely think these are amazing and inspiring. Created by Jason Miller for his "Seconds" series, these porcelain dinner plates were fabricated to question the rules applied to the design of contemporary consumer products. Things like centering decorative motifs, using the entire subject and staying within the bounds of specific design styles. I love the juxtaposing designs and clashing the classic style "china pattern" with the more modern, organic bird feature.
