Horse Hanger

There is something about horse related home decor that gets me every time. Throw in a coat of chartreuse paint and I am sold! I could think of about a million uses for this great looking vintage horse hanger- kitchen towel holder, bathroom hook, front door adornment... Salvaged from an antique shop, sanded and re-finished with a a bright coat of paint this guy is ready for his new home! Check out Squirrel and Monkey for more fabulous iron pieces and more!

Hazel and Hunter

I happened upon Hazel and Hunter and it was love at first sight! I am always fond of vintage pieces getting a new lease on life and at Hazel and Hunter you get just that. Along with a selection of antique furniture you will also find gorgeous hand printed pillows made from natural cotton hemp fabrics. They all have a very clean, modern look to them. I could come up with quite a few places that I could use these beauties! Mile End pillow featured above, inspired by Montreal's Mile End District.

Great looking Camilla footstool. Reupholstered in a bright and elegant Thomas Paul fabric. I love the colors and the lines of this piece.

Ficelles pillow printed in a vibrant cherry red. Perfection!

YY Studio

Hope you all had a great weekend! As the days are getting cooler, I am alway on the look out for some new and cozy pieces to keep warm in. I have my eye on this great wool wrap trench by YY Studio. I am always looking for alternatives to a heavy coat for the winter and this looks amazing! Handmade to fit so you are sure to get this piece just right, the trench is available in the pure virgin wool shown above, in solid wool colors or it can be made in thick cashmere which sounds too good to take off! Check out all the great styles available here.

Fall Trees

While my mind has been lost in a cloud creating new holiday designs, and printing orders like a mad woman- the weather has begun to change and it really feels like Fall. I love the weather getting cooler, but it usually means the assorted chores that ensue- putting the tank tops away and bringing out the sweaters, putting that extra blanket on the bed and needing slippers at night instead of having bare feet.

Yesterday, I got done with work while the sun was still out and got a chance to hang outside with the dogs for a bit. Looking around I noticed that our enormous tree is the only one on our street whose leaves have yet to change, or fall off... T just keeps telling me there are a whole lot of leaves up there that still have to come down. I am eagerly anticipating the leaves changing from green to orange to fire engine red.

Have a lovely weekend! I will be spending mine racking the front yard, where we have another giant tree whose leaves are definitely falling off already! xo

Amber Lake Cottage

Happy Monday, all! Hope you all enjoyed the weekend- we took advantage of the beautiful weather doing some yard work and enjoying some wine on the deck between some usual weekend Branch work! TK and I have been talking about taking a late fall, early winter mini weekend vaca up to the Catskills- you know somewhere rustic where we can enjoy the changing foliage, some hiking and a cozy fireplace! In my research I found this amazing cottage in Livingston Manor, NY. As its located on a beautiful lake and comes with a rowboat, I am thinking this place might be more fun in the summer- but the decor is so perfect and clean that I just had to share it with you all! You can read more about it and check out rates and availability here.

Old Crow Farm

Oh, its a rainy and windy morning here- making me want to curl up on the sofa with the pups... Wanted to highlight this cool little shop that I discovered and truly brightened my dark a.m! Take a look at Old Crow Farm, a shop that rescues other people's "junk" and turns it into beautiful treasures. With an industrial edge, Old Crow Farm has all kinds of home decor- from the perfect bin to stow your magazines to an upcycled chair that you didn't know you really needed! Rescued from a small town school, the globe featured above has a great vintage flair to it.

I have had my eye on this vintage locker basket for awhile. I could think of about 100 uses for them- in the studio, in the office...

Love, Love! Great use for what was once a 4x bread pan. I am especially drawn to the bright, fresh blue color....

Sunday Brunch

Dress, dresses.... looking for that perfect little frock? Take a peek at Sunday Brunch- a sweet little online shop devoted entirely to dresses from independent designers. Here you will find pieces that you won't easily find elsewhere. Along with the dress shop, Sunday Brunch also highlights an evolving collection of artists in their gallery. Above, Deborah Dress by Sublet clothing.

Cool Delphine dress from Australian design duo Camilla and Marc. I love the black racer back dress mixed with the fringed shawl. A loop on the dress keeps the shawl in place.

Loving this pistachio green one shoulder asymmetrical number. Featuring a ruffled shoulder and beautiful layers. I think this one is perfect for....anywhere?!

Fall Bedding

I love the Fall on the East Coast! It is most definately my favorite time of year- cozy cardigans, cool breezes and the perfect excuse to cuddle under a wool blanket. As the cooler weather approaches I am on the hunt for some new bedding. Time to get those layers back on the bed, get rid of that light weight coverlet and pull out the feather duvet to get comfy with, yeah! Sage Sparrow Duvet set featured above from Night Byrd.

Sweet Thicket Duvet from Dwell Studio. I especially like this feminine set mixed with the more masculine stripped Draper shams.

I've got my eye on this Missoni throw in the sunny pink color. This lambswool throw would be perfect on my bed or on the sofa for cooler nights.

Was thinking about this duvet set from West Elm. Its a great price and I love the design, but without the shams available I am having second thoughts...

Killer JellyFish Pillow

I love seeing our pieces presented in the homes of our customers. It continually excites me to see our pieces used and enjoyed by people everyday! One of our lovely customers sent over this image of her new living room. Having recently moved to Florida, she wanted to keep with the beachy theme of living seaside and used our Killer Jellyfish throw pillow cover to add a splash of color to her subtle and clean decor. I love the bright red with the relaxing blue and white theme- it looks so fresh and clean! You can pick up your over pillow cover in our shop here. (Thanks, Rose! )

Berkley Illustration

TK and I have been looking for something special for the wall over our bed. It has been blank since we moved in as I waited for that unique piece to grab my attention- and I found it! Take a look at Berkley Illustration for something whimsical and and simple. For a great price, these drawings are available in a variety of sizes- we are buying a collection and found some fun vintage frames on ebay to pair with them. If you are an animal lover I am sure you will be able to find a place in your home for these great pieces!

Papaver Vert

I have always been a sucker for textural design- anything to do with wool is usually a favorite of mine. I love the feel and the form and how there are so many ways that it can be used. That being said upon discovering Papaver Vert I was instantly in love! Each piece is hand crocheted, wet felted and sculpted from a combination of wool and mohair. I absolutely love the look- so clean and simple. Plant Cozy featured above.

Absolutely love these adorable crocheted nesting bowls. Use in the office stocked with paperclips or in the bedroom for all those pretty jewels laying around!

New Branch Pieces

Happy Friday all! Sorry for my light posting this week- between working on new pieces, getting some big orders shipped out and my birthday there wasn't much time left! Anyway wanted to leave you all with some shots of some new pieces that we're working on.

The whale design was created from a photo that we took of a rusty whale statue that we found at an antique store. The pillow cover will be available in our shop over the weekend, and you can pick up both sets of tea towels in our shop now. Have a great weekend, see you all next week! xo
