Product Spotlight: BH Orchid Pant

So, we were finally gifted with an amazing weekend here weather wise and its about time!!! With a beautiful 70+ degree day, TK and I decided to take the opportunity to go take some pics of our new Orchid Print Eco Pant at the beach. Bringing along our furry friends, Pixel and Olive may not have been such a smart idea because before I knew it Pixel had pulled me (and our new pant design) into the water. Luckily the weather was warm and it all ended with us getting some great product shots of the new style! You can pick up a pair of your own, right here- and don't worry, as always, yours will be brand new, never have gone for an ocean swim!

Ochre

I love the look of Ochre. Starting out as a London based line of contemporary products for the home, Ochre recently branched out opening a retail location in New York City. Mixing in their own collection with a variety of complimentary pieces from other lines, Ochre not only chooses elegant and unique pieces, but they also make an effort to sell product lines that are made under fair trade and green principles. Take a look at their well designed website or if you are in the NYC area make a stop at their brick and mortar local @ 432 Broome 10013.

I immediately fell in love with this delicate collection of pink porcelain bowls. I love the soft, muted colors against the glazed porcelain- they look so delicate and soft.

Amazing hand blown colored glass pots by Michael Ruh. I love the colors and they are perfect for condiments or olives...

Pretty and graphic silk lavender pouches. Perfect for enlivening a room or small space with a fresh clean scent.

Bobby Berk Home

I happened upon a new home decor website Bobby Berk Home. They carry a wide ranging selection of goods, mainly focused on modern favorites like Dwell Studio, Gus Modern and Not Neutral. They have clean and easy to maneuver website, I especially like the eco- friendly section and the gift section with items grouped by price range is nice especially with the impending holiday season fast approaching. Click here for the regal Greyhound Linen Pillow by Thomas Paul featured above.

I love this chandelier wall light. Perfect for adding ambiance to a room, and you get a piece of art out of it too! Made by DuffyLondon and available in two size options.

Check out this cool stackable storage cube. Perfect for storing toys and books. I love the retro vibe with the star cut out. Best part is they are made completely out of recycled wood without formaldehyde laden MDF.

New designs from Thomas Paul. Have a look at the Sarah Linen Pillow in beet. I love the color and the bohemian feel.

Feel More Human

Go shopping at Feel More Human and you can feel like you are doing something toward living a more sustainable lifestyle. Feel More Human is a great online shop that mixes modern living with a more eco-friendly aesthetic. They know that we can't always make perfectly sustainable choices all the time, but they try and keep their customers inspired and informed about things that you can do. Feel More Human strives to create a place where people can shop modern, well designed products with a company whose business practices are grounded in responsibility. While shopping their great products, take some time and read their blog devoted to eco- friendly living, products and more. Click here for the awesome 303 Chair featured above.

I love Juice Beauty's facial products. They are all organic, smell delicious and do their job. Can't ask for more than that! I also love their packaging- simple and bright. The Organics To Go kit is a great starter kit that comes with a luxe, organic bamboo washcloth.

I adore the simple design and classic styling of the Gus Modern designed Spencer Chair. Although this piece is definitely more expensive than say your average chair from West Elm or CB2, this is a quality investment piece that you will keep forever instead of filling our landfills with inexpensive, disposable furniture. A great eco-choice!

I was interested in this piece, as it was labeled "Eco-Lighting." This lighting collection was designed by Roland Simmons and looks beautiful. The shades are a DuraSilk shade which is an environmentally friendly material made out post industrial polyethylene resin. Available in different heights.

Deadly Squire is a design company that creates items for both the home and self. Created by a humorous and artistic husband and wife team, Deadly Squire has produced a line of products based on six distinct patterns that take their inspirations from nature and daily surroundings. Make sure and read their funny product descriptions and check out their cute line drawings, all add to the cool factor of Deadly Squire! Click here for the rectangular pillow featured above.

My favorite pattern of the current Deadly Squire collection is definately Black Birds After the Harvest. I love the dark quality of the black birds and black leaves against the green back ground. That being said, I love the round tray in Black Birds pattern. Perfect for party serving or just to have hanging around... Made of Swedish birch veneer.

Feasting at the Berry Bush is an adorable and bright pattern. It looks great on the dog bed and is machine washable made out of cotton canvas.

Pieces

Pieces is an amazing furniture and home decorating store located in Atlanta, Georgia. I have not had the experience of visiting Pieces firsthand, but judging by their impeccably designed and easy to maneuver online store, it looks like a mecca of good taste and amazing finds. Many of the pieces available are vintage and one of kind, but look to have been restored to pristine condition. They also have a fun selection of dog accessories from leashes and collars to water bowls and beds- everything you need for your furry friend! Visit them online, or if you are in the Atlanta area @ 3234 A Roswell Road. Click here for the pair of lamps featured above.

Here is an amazing piece for you, check out this vintage orange cabinet. I love the color, it reminds me of a creamscicle (yumm!) Great looking chest, perfect for storing china in a dining room or guest linens in a bedroom. Featuring a faux bamboo design and original hardware.

Amazing natural wood bench. I love the combination of the knotted wood on the slender iron legs. The three legs is also an unexpected design element.

I am a glassware fanatic and these vintage dot glasses look like they are ready to join my collection! Featuring a gold lip with frosted white dots and diamond detailing , these great looking glasses would be perfect for a brimming lemonade on a warm summer afternoon. Perfection!

Velocity Art and Design

Velocity is one of my favorite online stores for anything modern and fabulous for the home. They have an amazing looking space in Seattle, WA that I am dying to visit, but until then the online destination will have to quench my thirst! Velocity is committed to providing a unique and diverse selection of home products that are a standard of quality, luxury and beauty. Check out their amazing products online or if you are in the Seattle area stop by 251 Yale Avenue North and let me know how it is! Check out the Molos Soft Wall above here.

Wow, wow, wow! That is all I can say for this amazing architectural piece. Created by design duo Egawa + Zbryk, this Puzzle Screen was featured in the 2001 I.D Magazine's Annual Design Review. I can just picture this in an open loft as a divider in the space. Available in birch or powder coated steel in either white or black.

How cool is this flip clock with 84 original drawings by Yoshitomo Nara for Cerealart! As each hour passes a new image is revealed.

Love this bright colored Mororso Nest Armchair! Perfect for an outdoor balcony or intimate garden, the eye popping color will definitely be noticed amongst shady plants.

Lexie Lew

Being owners of two mutts, we are constantly on the hunt for stylish and interesting new products for our dogs. Recently, I ran across this great designer of custom dog beds located in Brooklyn. For some reason I have this obscene addiction with buying beds for our dogs and this site did not help my cause! Not only are they designed with great pattern options available, but for me the clincher is the built in burrowing pocket! One of our dogs, the 7 month old, Pixel loves to sleep buried under the covers. Check out Lexie Lew and maybe your dog will suddenly need a new bed too!

Some of the great pattern options available.... I think I am leaning toward Lucy!
