The Vintage Supply Co

Happy Friday, everyone! Sorry for the light posting this week- we have been crazed!

Just discovered this great little Etsy vintage and fell in love! I am a sucker for great vintage pieces and The Vintage Supply Co has some great pieces to wear and also to furnish the home- one stop shop- gotta love it! Perfect 1950's mesh patio chairs featured above.

I absolutely adore lighting and 60's pop lighting can't be beat. Add it to any decor and you instantly have a bright spot in your room. Check out this vintage orange ceramic swag lamp, love the color!

Loving these 1940's black bouncer chairs. They have such a great look to them- clean, but whimsical at the same time.

Branch Handmade Awning Stripe Pillows

I have been wanting to do a line of screen printed pillow covers with printed backgrounds for awhile. My need for some cute outdoor pillows and my want to do some experimentation yielded a very cute nautical inspired set of summer stripe pillow covers. I am very happy with the result- a bright and cheerful pillow set that makes just about any chair a little more comfortable!
We may do a limited run of these for the summer...

Erde Designs Reclaimed Planter

Having spent the weekend gardening, I definitely have plants on the brain! For me, gardening is kind of addictive- once I start there is never any end in sight, and that just fine with me! I happened upon this beautiful hand crafted windowsill planter by Erde Designs and instantly fell in love! Not only is it perfect for a mini herb garden in the kitchen, but its made out of reclaimed hardwood floor, check out the tongue and groove! So great, especially for city dwellers looking to add a little greenery to their homes! Check out their shop right here.

Gilded Birdcage Pillowcases and Thank you

Finally got to printing some of these new Gilded Birdcage Pillowcases! We created the print awhile ago from a photo of an antique birdcage that we found on one of our antiquing excursions, and I have been wanting to make some pillowcases ever since! I am very pleased with the way they came out! You can pick up a pair in our shop here.

Also wanted to give a special thank you to our newest retailer, The Purple Fern in Winchester, VA. Thanks, Sarah! Also a thank you for the continued support from Knack Studios in Greenville, SC (Thanks, Barb!) and The Red Pigeon in Australia (Thank you, Martine!) We love working with you all!

Filz Felt

My glassware fetish has led to an intense need for a variety of coasters to protect all of our furniture and in my quest for the perfect coaster, I believe I just may have found them! These just arrived yesterday and I absolutely love them and am looking forward to ordering more stuff from Filz Felt. Created by two "felt loving" designers, Filz Felt is based on the idea of simplicity and quality and their collection covers everything from placemats and flooring to coasters and pillows- all made of high quality, beautiful felt in all colors of the rainbow.

My next purchase will be these cool placemats. I love the simple design and the fact that you can easily clean them with warm, soapy water.

Can't miss with these simple and cleanly designed felt pillows. Made from 2 mm 100% felt, these pillows are made to order and with so many color choices you may have to get more than one!

Hermitage

Happy Monday! Now that all (okay, most...) of our furniture have found homes in our new abode, I get to look at the fun stuff- accessories, textiles, decor- you know the cherry on top! If you are like me and looking for new pieces for a new place or looking for some way to spice up the old one check out Hermitage. Hermitage is located in Seattle, WA and has a great selection of goodies for the home. I am particularly smitten with their exquisite wallpaper selection. Love Elizabeth by Madison & Grow featured above.

The wallpaper featured above created by Lene Toni Kjeld really caught my attention. If you have ever encountered the problem of combining multiple paper designs in one room this collection, Walldecoration, is just what you need. Created to allow for soft transitions within a space Walldecoration can be used independently or combined. Very smart!

Moving, Moving....

Hi Friends! So sorry for having been away- we have been moving over the weekend and we are still knee high in boxes! Just wanted to let you know I will be posting sporadically for the rest of the week- as I try to sort out all of this madness, get the studio set up and continue to print, process and ship orders.

On a happy note- we love our new house and it is coming together swimmingly! We (and the dogs) are very excited to get everything organized and enjoy it! As soon as everything is set up, I will be sharing some pics of our new place, so stay tuned! In the meantime I can definitely use a few of these awesome burlap buckets from Three Potato Four. Made from jute (a favorite material of mine) from recycled fair trade coffee sacks, these buckets are just what I need to get my life re-organized!
