And who doesn't love knitwear? Check out FLOCKS, created by Rotterdam based designer Christien Meindertsma. She works with a flock of craftspeople including designers, knitters, felters and farmers to create beautiful and unique products in a broad spectrum of categories. Her pieces are at once basic and luxurious and her unique design perspective brings items and materials together in an unexpected and utilitarian way. Check out FLOCKS website here and all the beautiful pieces available.

OMG! Talk about beautiful luxury! Check out this amazing rug. I want it, I want it! Hand knitted from the wool of 18 merino sheep. Beyond fantastic!

Yes, I know you might be a wee bit "poufed out" here at the Peacock, but I couldn't resist this fabulous little knitted pouf. I love the color and the great idea. Very unexpected.

FLOCKS also has a great little fashion collection. Including the mittens featured above, hats, cardigans, scarfs etc. All made from a variety of luxurious knitted material. Perfect for bundeling!

Angela Adams

Good morning! It is a blustery, grey and snowy day here this morning, but these fantastic, colorful pieces from Angela Adams' new collection are sure to brighten anyone's day! I have been a big fan of her textiles for a long time, but I think her new collection of floor coverings is especially inspired. You can check out all the goods here, including new apparel and select, lovely furniture pieces. I am in l0ve with the textured Flora/Peony Rug featured above.

The prints and shapes of the Manfred collection of pillows is so great! I love the retro, bright feel- would look great just about anywhere! Available in three distinct shapes.

These totes are perfect for carrying around town or on a trip. Featuring the distinct Angela Adams patterns and color. Made of silk screened canvas and handles long enough to go over the shoulder.

Check out this bright 2' x 3' rug, perfect for an entry! On sale too! I love the colors and made from soft 100% cotton.

Bunny Maxwell

Check out Bunny Maxwell, a cool online shop that is all things pattern! If you love patterns you will love Bunny Maxwell. From lighting, wallpaper, throw pillows and rugs there is all sorts of great options for adding a little extra fun and spunk to your home. Also available is an eclectic mix of vintage and original works of art. Right here for the Koi wallpaper featured above.

I love this adorable Rainbow Tights photo by photographer Matt Schwartz. Created through polaroid transfers, there is a certain quiet haunting to what would normally be seen as fun and high spirited.

Great retro inspired coffee, cream and sugar set. Featuring a black and white ribbon design, this great set is perfect for getting you moving in the morning.

Check out the Your Best Shot bedding by Luxury Lab Linens. I love the bright colors and also how the pattern on the bedspread is off kilter. Don't miss the archers on the shams...

UMA

UMA is a cool little online store with a unique and inspiring collection of goods from assorted vendors. They carry all types of things for the home, including glassware, textiles and flooring. I was immediately drawn into the premise of the store upon reading about how the business came to fruition- Mike Finan, the owner, writes about how UMA was created after an accident where two buses collided hitting him and his dog, Uma, who unfortunately didn't make it out of the accident. Inspired to fulfill a dream, Mike created UMA and named it after his best friend who had passed on. Check out all that UMA has to offer, you can click here to see the Kor Water Flask featured above.

Ok, who can resist any type of art that can be applied to the toilet? Check out the Stikko Sub, which is adhesive and can be applied to any smooth surface of the home. I absolutely love this and the idea! Available in a variety of designs including the the deer and crown designs.

Awesome die cut floral leather floor runner I love the pattern and the smooth texture. This piece would look amazing down a dark wood floored hallway.... Created by Bev Hisey.

I know you all know about my obsession with glassware- so check out these Vintage Tumblers. Set of 4 festooned with a vintage style goblet, black and white.

Zinc Details

While living in San Francisco, by far one of my favorite stores to visit was Zinc Details. Light and airy, Zinc Details not only provided a modern and clean respite from the rest of the world, but also an inspiring and fun collection of everything from barware and furniture to flooring and personal accessories. It would never fail that I would walk out of there with some modern goodness for a gift or (on a good day!) for myself. Now, living away from the city by the bay I am glad they have a great online presence where I can continue to shop their fantastic selection! Click here for the blu dot rocker featured above.

Whenever I shopped at Zinc Details, I always admired this Uten Silo Board and couldn't wait for the day that this great piece would hang on my office wall. Perfect for any room to help with organization, I always pictured it filled with colored pencils, pens, scissors and all those other office goodies!

This glass teapot has and continues to be a favorite design of mine. The 1920's Bauhaus design is timeless and delicate and the pyrex glass withholds the heat. My favorite part of this teapot is watching as the tea diffuses through the water. Amazing!

How funny are these Pizza plates? Check them out here.

Emma Gardner Design

I came across this company and was so struck by the designs, particularly the rug designs that I had to include a post about them, even though they don't have an online store to purchase their products. You can email them, though, if you are interested in purchasing a specific item. Anyway, check out Emma Gardner Design for amazing textiles- notably the amazing hand made rugs. They create beautiful, vibrant rugs using either hand knotting or hand tufting process' with luxurious silk wool or textured New Zealand wool. They also have fabulous throw blankets and pillows. Their designs are definitely eye candy! Click here for the rug design featured above.

This design was what initially struck me. I love this Fish Tail rug hand knotted out of Chinese Silk on Tibetan Wool. I can only imagine how soft this beautiful floor art must be! Shown in the chocolate, but custom colors are available.

Unique alpaca wool blend throw. Looks perfect to cozy up with on the sofa. I love the colors. Is available in a couple other color and pattern combos.

Can't beat the name or the colors! I love this Gin and Tonic pillow. Made out of Sensuede on the exterior which is very durable and easy to clean. Filled with down and feathers. Comfortable and pretty. Available in multiple color and pattern combos.
