Check out this beautiful glass bowl created by Malja Isola for Iittala. I have always been a fan of this type of antique glass with the etching and cut look that looks amazing in the sunlight. It definitely has an antique and old quality to it, but the bright glass colors that it comes in make it have a modern sensibility all at the same time. Along with making a great dessert bowl (vanilla ice cream scooped into the plum colored bowl....yum!), these would also look amazing with a whole assorted collection used as tea light holders in the center of a table.
