Since there are so many great products available at Marimekko, I thought that it deserved two blog entries... Being someone that loves pattern in the home, I am always inspired by the fabrics, colors and designs by this company. Anytime I use a fabric or piece by Marimekko in a room I immediately feel like it breathes a new life, humor and lightness into the space and even better, it is without fail that it is a focal point or conversation starter!
Dinnerware is like the jewelry on a table setting, and this Aarre plate designed by Maija Louekari takes this premise to a literal sense! I love this intertwining pattern of necklaces and jewels, available in either red or black.
