Gold and Glistening

On a day like today with the rain pounding the window and the dreary grey sky taking over my normally bright studio, all I want is a little bit of sunshine to lift my mood. I guess maybe I was inspired by dreams of a sunny day and thats why all these glistening gold pieces really tickled my fancy today. I have always had a thing for metallics in interiors- it always seemed like the perfect bit of shiny jewelry to set off a collection or the ideal element of surprise on a coffee table.
