Erica Weiner Jewelry

I have been a fan of Erica Weiner Jewelry for a long time, but I just discovered that she had a shop on Etsy.  Based out of Manhattan, Erica began designing jewelry in 2005 with an emphasis on creating pieces that were made from antique and vintage pieces. Her pieces have a wonderful non-precious aspect to them that makes them both wearable and treasurable. I think thats the part I like most about them- they look rich in history in their antiquity, but because she uses antique and vintage findings she is able to keep the price reasonable. Click here for the oversized plastic studs featured above.

These  rose gold plated mesh bracelets are something I have my eye one. I have always been a fan of rose gold, I love the femininity of it and that mixed with the delicate mesh and clasps are absolute perfection.

Fabulous YSL enamel zipper pull earrings. I love the thought process that went into these. Navy Rectangles emblazoned with the classic YSL logo in a pretty copper are destined for some very stylish ears!

Orphan Annie Bracelet. Original medallions used for promotion of Ovaltine (yum, used to love Ovaltine as a kid!) in the 30's decorate this chunky chain.

I love this red merino wool shawl decorated with an adorable dachshund. Such a cute decorative piece to keep you nice and cozy!

Perfect beach tote! Okay, I know I am begging for Spring to come and I am already skipping ahead to Summer.. Great navy artichoke print on this one.

Bright and cheery shift dress. Featuring an orange wheel design and made from organic cotton poplin. Breathable and great for a warm summer!

Beklina

Beklina is an fantastic online shop with an amazing assortment of goodies to choose from. Everything from clothing to fab pieces for your home. They feature items that are sustainable, vintage and new and display and photograph them in a simple, clean way. They also make an effort to work with independent artists, creating a unique array of products that you won't find at any old shop... This Minimal Lamp by Jed Crystal featured above immediately grabbed my attention. I absolutely love the construction! Made from power cords that have been covered in colorful cotton creating a "web shade." I love how basic this design is, yet at the same time looks amazingly complicated.

I am so loving this adorable Rachel Comey dress. I have always been wild about prints- I love to mix and match patterns and this dress does all the work for you! Made from 100% silk with a favorite feature of mine in dresses- hidden pockets!

I've been on a hunt for some feather headbands and I just found it here. Made by Moth Love which is a sustainable collection that uses vintage and vegetable tanned leather. Beautiful and on sale too!

Another adorable dress on my must have Spring list (hurry, warm weather, hurry!) I love shift dresses- they are so simple and sophisticated and easy. Throw on some flats and you are ready for trip to the park with the dogs or an elegant outdoor lunch. Ethically made by hand.

I saw this bathtub and was immediately transported to a land of bubbles, candles and fresh air! Stone Forest makes beautiful pieces for the bath and kitchen using natural granite that has been hand carved using a hammer and chisel. Combining contemporary design with a traditional Japanese aesthetic, Stone Forest designs amazing pieces that carry a weight of authenticity that you don't normally see. Its an early, grey day this morning and I was happy to peruse the beautiful, textural papers of Smock. Smock. makes great letterpress stationary and cards with pretty graphics and patterns and adorable images. Smock. is based in Syracuse, New York and is the first and only print shop in the U.S. to offer printing on sustainable bamboo paper. Vintage Bi-Plane cardigan and More...

Good Monday Morning! I am happy and looking forward to this week- I think the weekend of fresh air, yard work and 55 plus degree weather helped to revive my tired spirit! Todd and I embarked on a trip to the midway to take some photos of some of our new pieces. It seemed like a great back drop and it proved to be a fun and inspiring trip. It was one of those days when the light is perfect, the weather beautiful and instead of a sad, closed down boardwalk the pastel rides popped and jumped off the sky blue back drop. Click here for our new Bi-plane cardigan featured above withe the fortune teller!

The carousel was whirling around, I love the lights and the horses!

This photo of the ferris wheel came out amazing- I love the pastel colors of the buckets, so perfect!

Photo we took of the midway. Usually still, closed down rides give me the creeps- guess I have seen to many horror movies, but today the rides looked cheerful and ready for the Spring!

Product Spotlight: Christopher Jagmin Number Plates

I saw these fabulous plates in the February 2009 issue of Domino (sadly, it will be one of the last issue's we will get to enjoy ) and was instantly in love. I always enjoy the stark contrast and simplicity of black and white and the numbers are just the perfect addition. You can pick them up right here, and click here for the rest of the Number Collection .

Whimsy & Spice

Most of people think of etsy as the place for all things handmade, but few realize or think about the delicious, handmade foods that are also available. Whimsy & Spice, a Brooklyn based bakery, caught my eye because of their beautiful photography, simple packaging and drool worthy yummys! Check out their shop here and pick up some perfect gifts for Valentine's day- much better than the box of chocolates you can pick up in the supermarket! Click here for the Box of Valentine's Cookies featured above.

I have my eye on this delightfully packaged sampler box- that way I can try all their goodies at once!

Okay, this is not right- I am salivating posting these pictures! These sound great, I love the unusual mix of flavors. Check out these Chocolate Orange Cardamom shortbread cookies.

Angela Adams

Good morning! It is a blustery, grey and snowy day here this morning, but these fantastic, colorful pieces from Angela Adams' new collection are sure to brighten anyone's day! I have been a big fan of her textiles for a long time, but I think her new collection of floor coverings is especially inspired. You can check out all the goods here, including new apparel and select, lovely furniture pieces. I am in l0ve with the textured Flora/Peony Rug featured above.

The prints and shapes of the Manfred collection of pillows is so great! I love the retro, bright feel- would look great just about anywhere! Available in three distinct shapes.

These totes are perfect for carrying around town or on a trip. Featuring the distinct Angela Adams patterns and color. Made of silk screened canvas and handles long enough to go over the shoulder.

Check out this bright 2' x 3' rug, perfect for an entry! On sale too! I love the colors and made from soft 100% cotton.
